This year we are planning to double our successes from 2022. Within each new city, we will continue our partnership with the Breakfast Club of Canada and the No Kid Hungry campaign in the US. It is important that we fight food insecurity in North America, and we are expecting to double our contributions from 2022 of 11 940 meals offered to children this year.

2022 was a large success for MicroHabitat, with a total of 130 urban agricultural farms installed, reopened and maintained during the year. It marked our expansion into 2 new cities and our introduction into the United States: Vancouver and New York!
Expansion in the new year
In 2023, we’re preparing our largest expansion to date with the opening of 6 new cities across North America. These will be Edmonton and Calgary in Canada, and Seattle, San Francisco, Denver and Colorado in the United States. This will be our introduction into a new market and environment, and we are proud to uphold our Urban Solidarity Farms initiative to support communities by supplying their local food banks with fresh produce harvested from our urban agricultural farms.

Client experience and satisfaction are extremely important to us, and we intend to continue to deliver every aspect of our turnkey service with each new city we expand to.

In 2022, we received a 95% satisfaction rating from 146 clients, and it is our goal to upkeep this in 2023 through our communication, workshops, mobilization programs, team bonding, and community support. We hope to deepen one’s connection with nature and the food we eat through urban agriculture.
We’re looking forward to what 2023 will bring, and we hope you’ll join us in this new endeavour!
Help us spread the benefits of sustainability and urban farming across North America. Let’s cultivate change together!
