Grow sustainability in Chicago with MicroHabitat
Like many North American cities, Chicago has a long history of local food production as they led the nation in wartime urban food production, and served as a model for victory garden programs. Building on this rich history, interest in urban agriculture in Chicago has blossomed over the past decade and this practice is a popular type of extensive land use in the city.
